Hot days in Hokkaido

I was born in Hokkaido, Japan. “Hokkaido” is famous for its great nature and quality foods, but sometimes living in Hokkaido is felt a bit boring. You can do camping almost everywhere in here. You can even camp by the road before my house. The star dazzling in midnight, you can realize how close we live from the sky or stars here.

Anyway, Hokkaido is also famous for its severe winter season. It is located in the northern part of Japan, and that’s why we have the shortest summer season in Japan. So, basically Hokkaido citizen are not accustomed to live in hot weather like in Tokyo. Tokyo’s summer is like living in a humid and warm outside pool with plastic roof and wall. You don’t want to wear suits but Tokyoities still do it. They are always repeating come and go from cold air-conditioned building to hot like hell outside.

So I’m totally not used to this hot summer in here. Hot is not suitable to Hokkaido. Hokkaido must be cold. I sometimes wonder what will happen in this winter season.
